Analyzer Panels / Buildings

Panelmatic has integrated both liquid and gas analyzers; LEL, Ph, Continuous Emission Monitors, Gas Chromatographs. We are experts in orbital welding for use in hazardous and corrosive environments. We have designed mobile systems for the back roads of China, Italy, and Germany. We have installed analyzers in three sided shelters, completed buildings (some in Class 1 Div 2 environments), and standalone racks.

Analyzer buildings protect analyzer equipment from any external factors that may alter the accuracy of its readings. Depending on the demands of the application, these enclosures are usually designed for Class 1 Div 1 or Class 1 Div 2. Also, these buildings could be stand-alone, or be fitted in a variety of setups to interact with other systems within a facility.

When serving as stand-alone structures, they are usually made of concrete. When inside a facility, the housing is metallic and usually skid based. The skid base construction style offers portability and usually cheaper cost of construction as the work occurs in a controlled shop environment.

Analyzer buildings are popular in processing plants in the chemical and oil & gas industry, with increasing levels of customization.
Complete HVAC system with circuitry.
Multiple lines and sampling points to feed various types of loggers, chromatographs, and analyzers. Also, configuration of these equipment to meet client’s process requirements.
Piping, wiring, lighting fixtures, and junction boxes in line with specifications.

A safely designed and constructed analyzer building should be top priority for asset owners. The potential presence of toxic and flammable materials within the analyzer equipment requires close monitoring and strong control systems. Even in the case of leakage, the ventilation systems should be robust enough to quickly extract toxic materials to a safe distance.

Moreover, there should be warning signals at key areas such as entry doors, to alert operators of the presence of harmful materials.

A properly designed analyzer building includes:

  • The enclosure structure.
  • Housing or shelter layout.
  • Design compliance to requested specifications and codes.
  • HVAC.
  • Fire and gas detection systems, as well as alarm systems.
  • Communication systems.
  • Electrical systems and utility.
