Our organization is seeking a skilled estimator with a highly-trained eye for quality to join our team in Youngstown, OH. In this position, you will learn new and advanced methods for estimating all costs associated with the manufacture of protection and control panels. You will be able to help support our company’s vision of delivering products of the highest quality to our customers within their specification, timeframe, and budget. Duties & Responsibilities:
· Interface closely with customers and/or project managers on defining scope of supply
· Create bills of material from drawings and/or schematics
· Procure pricing from vendors to ultimately create a proposal letter
· Input and maintain information listed in database and/or CRM system regarding quotes
· Manage quoting schedule
· Accountable for the commercial success, customer satisfaction, and delivery of assigned quotations
Competencies:
· Required:
o High school diploma or a GED equivalent
o Computer skills including MS Office experience with Excel and Access
o Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
o Communication skills (verbal and written)
o Analytical minded

o Customer service centric
· Preferred:
o Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
o AutoCAD experience
o Prior experience as an estimator
o Member of American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE)
o Member of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACE)
