Panelmatic is seeking an experienced high-performing Business Development Manager who will be responsible for leading the execution of the sales strategy for Panelmatic’s growth in the Northeast OH and Western PA area market. This includes, but is not limited to, working closely with the General Manager and Estimator for pricing strategies and support of the new and existing customer base, growing the customer base, and maintaining and/or rekindling past customer relationships. This individual will be responsible for providing input for new projects, products, and various business development opportunities. Significant regional travel (50-80%) is required to clients’ offices, with a home base office space in Youngstown, OH.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base to ensure its strong presence

· Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships

· Identify emerging markets and competitive intelligence

· Discover new potential customers and new market opportunities

· Deliver powerful presentations that communicate the uniqueness of Panelmatic’s value proposition

  • Conducts regular sales calls/personal visits with client base to promote service offerings and further cultivate relationships. Consistent follow-ups on all open quote opportunities, while also having a proactive mindset hunting for other new potential opportunities.

Competencies:

· Required:

o Three (3) or more years of direct B2B sales, and/or electrical equipment industry OR five (5) years of combined outside sales, inside sales, electrical design, and field electrical experience

o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Psychology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience

o Excellent written and verbal communication skills

o High integrity and ethical business practices

  • High level of negotiation skills with the ability to listen effectively, understand customer needs, and identify and clearly present value propositions to our customers.
  • Stellar customer focus and proven relationship building skills, both externally and internally

· Preferred:

o Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Business, or Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in control panel manufacturing or engineering design

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
