Our organization is seeking a skilled assembly and wiring technician with a highly-trained eye for quality to join our team in St. Louis, MO. In this position, you will be exposed to the some of the latest in wiring tools in use in the industry. You will learn new and more advanced methods for assembly and wiring specifically for control panels, instrument junction boxes, racks, and modified containers. You will be able to help support our company’s vision of delivering products of the highest quality to our customers within their specification, timeframe, and budget. Duties & Responsibilities:
• Layout, measure, drill, and tap subpanels for initial assembly preparation
• Install Din-rail, equipment, PLC’s, terminal blocks, nameplates, and wire duct
• Cut, tag, and run wire as shown on project drawings
• Install, bend, and run conduit to and from power panels, handy boxes, and equipment inside of modified containers and remote instrument enclosures
• Cutout and punch steel, plastic, or other various types of materials
• Additional duties as needed to ensure project schedule & timeline
• Ensure project quality and within specification
o High school diploma or a GED equivalent
o Analytical minded
o Attention to detail
o Organizational and planning skills
o Physical stamina including capability to stand for long periods
o Physical ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects
o Excellent color vision and eyesight
o Exceptional dexterity
o Prior experience as a wire technician
o Knowledge of NEC and UL Codes
